  26. 1/2 pound bulk sausage
  27. 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese crumbled
  28. Grits----
  29. 1 cup grits
  30. 4 cup water
  31. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  32. 1 cup extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  33. 1/2 stick butter
  34. Topping----
  35. 1/2 pound Bacon

Instructions to make to make Breakfast Pot Pie

  1. Preheat oven 450 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Cook the grits in water, butter, and salt. When done add cheese and stir. Let sit till needed.
  3. Mix the crust ingredients. Knead the dough.
  4. Roll the dough out like a giant biscuit or pizza.
  5. Spray an deep pan with nonstick spray. Cover the bottom and sides with dough. Bake 12 minutes.
  6. Scramble the eggs, cook till done, and season them set aside
  7. Fry the potatoes and onions add seasonings till done.
  8. Cook the 1/2 pound of sausage till done and let sit.
  9. Fry the other 1/2 pound of sausage till done. Add butter, flour, salt, and pepper.
  10. When the sausage and flour mixture is cooked 3 minutes add milk stirring constantly. When thickened remove from heat.
  11. Form the bacon in a lattice work and put on a plate with paper towels. Microwave on hi till done. (mine shrunk when I cooked it).
  12. Add gravy on top of crust
  13. Add the potatoes on top of gravy
  14. Add cheese broken in chunks, with sausage on top of potatoes
  15. Add eggs on top of cheesy sausage
  16. Add grits on top of eggs
  17. Add bacon lattice on top of grits. put into oven 15-20 minutes.
  18. Let sit 5 minutes.
  19. Serve I hope you enjoy!
